Happy {Belated} 4th of July!

I know I am a little late on this post… but thankfully work decided to give me a few days extra off, so instead of sitting on my laptop indoors, I was out enjoying the sunshine. This year’s 4th of July was one of my favorite weekends ever. I was surrounded by amazing friends and of course my incredible family.
"Little" brother Joe & my good friend Paul
I spent the entire day in Harbor Springs, Michigan visiting the shops, having a drink {or two} on the shore of Lake Michigan, and watching the parade. The weather was beautiful with not a cloud in the sky. Its days like that when you look around soaking your surroundings while thinking "I am so lucky to live where I live... This is home." Rough life, huh?
Things did get goofy with my siblings though... My brother and I got our caricature done while walking around the Art in the Park booths. I love how the artist did his eyebrows... Ahh, this picture still makes me laugh out loud and I will be getting it framed this week!
My sister and I on the other handed bonded by making "holiday mustaches" and sported them for most of the night before fireworks. Good times, good times.
Anyone out there do silly or crazy things this past holiday weekend? I wanna hear good stories and look forward checking in on how all of my followers spent their 4th of July. Proud to be an American, for sure!
